The 28th annual running of CORVETTES & FRIENDS DO BRAINERD will be held at Brainerd International Raceway on May 30, 31, June 1, 2008. Last year over 90 drivers participated in our 27th annual event. This year should be even bigger. It’s a chance for you to renew friendships that have been built over the years and to make new ones that we hope will continue for a long time.

This event is your chance to find out what really driving your Corvette, or other car, is like. Whether you are a novice or an experienced racer this will be the place to be in 2008. Even if you don’t race, come up and see others race or simply find out what it is all about, sign up and attend. You won’t be disappointed. This event takes place in sunshine or rain. Participants and spectators continue to come back year after year for this premier event.

Brainerd International Raceway is Minnesota’s “Premier Motorsports Facility”. BIR is a three mile road course with 10 corners, several of which are high speed. The track is located just two hours north of Minneapolis and St. Paul in the beautiful lake country of Northern Minnesota.

BIR is Northwest of Brainderd, Minnesota on Route 371, 5.3 miles North of Route 210, on the East side of the road.
Turn Right at the Amoco station/store by the main entrance.
Enter through the main gate and go through security and sign the waivers.
Turn Left and follow the road around to the Paddock, Registration and Tech.
